NOTE: What some may see as inconsistency in my posting, is actually obedience to the Holy Spirit, posting only what and when He would have me post, nothing more and nothing less-not sorry. John (NIV) 14:10; 16:12-15.
It is very important that people who claim to know God, cultivate a relationship with God; to become so immersed in Him that anything or anyone who comes with a gospel other than the True Gospel will be known to be false. Galatians 1:6-12. Anyone doing signs and wonders that is not of God will be shown for the scam and con artist that they are. Acts 8:9-25. In other words, stay away from strange fruit.
Galatians 5: 22-26 (NIIV) states: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.” My pastor likes to say that if what you have heard or read does not make you love God more or people (lost or saved) more, it isn’t of God. Be a fruit inspector. Matthew 7:15-23.
Who in their right mind would take a rotten piece of fruit and began to eat it. Who in their right mind would reject a luscious, ripe, delicious piece of fruit for a piece of fruit that is slimy, moldy and stinks. Yet we do this when we reject the One True God for what is false (remember: rotten-death; ripe-life). Deuteronomy 30:19,20.
It is by beholding His presence and abiding in His presence. That we will know what is True and what is not. Psalm 27:4-6; 84.
In the treasury department, the experts do not study what is fake (counterfeit) money. They study what is real they know come to know the feel, smell and touch of real money to such a degree that anything that deviates from what they know is declared false. We must know the word of God and His presence to such an extent that anything that deviates from Him will be declared false. John 15:1-17; 10:1-18; Ephesians 4:11-16.
